The Transformers is an American animated television series depicting a war between giant robots who could transform into vehicles, animals, and other objects. Decepticons (known as Destrons in the Japanese version), under the command of Megatron, sought conflict and universal conquest. Both sides were embroiled in an ages old war for supremacy.
